  • Four to twenty people may form a Team.
  • Each Team member must raise a minimum of $40
  • Each team as a whole must raise at least $300.  
  • Every Team chooses their own Team name and should elect a Team "alpha dog" to represent the group!
  • Teams can even design their own fundraising page to raise awareness and pledges!
  • To create your Walk Fundraising Page, sign up as a BHS DogFest Walk Ambassador which will then lead              you to create a page for your team.
  • Everyone on the team can use the same page to do your fundraising.                                                                                   



DogFest Walk

In Memory of Jason Webster


Join other animal lovers and raise funds to benefit Baltimore Humane Society while having fun on our beautiful grounds! Bring your pet, your friends, and your family! Enjoy a 1-mile trail walk through our beautiful 365-acre wildlife sanctuary. Then join the fun and excitement of all else that DogFest has to offer!!   Can't make the walk?  You can still register and help collect donations with your own fundraising page.

Help support our no-kill shelter, which relies solely on donations to operate. We do not receive funds from any national humane societies or local governments.

This year's Walk is in memory of Jason Webster, an ardent supporter of Baltimore Humane Society and DogFest Walk Ambassador for a number of years.  He and his beloved dog, Santana, worked hard to help the many homeless pets who come to stay with us. If you cannot walk, but would like to donate in Jason's memory, you can make your donation by clicking here for his fundraising form.

  • Rolling start time from 10am to Noon                                                                                                (Registration is 10am. Ribbon cutting ceremony 10:15am)
  • All walkers must raise or donate a minimum of $40.
  • Registration entitles you to a free DogFest t-shirt, free admission to DogFest, and goodies including a $10 PetValu coupon, a 50% Off PetValu self-serve dog wash coupon, free Magooby's ticket, and a free pass to Pet Depot's self-serve dog wash! 
  • Register by Sept. 6 to get a guaranteed shirt size of your choice.
  • Fabulous prizes awarded to our top fundraisers!
    • Top individual wins a prize.
    • Top team wins a wine tasting party for up to 20 people at Basignani Winery.
